A warm welcome to the website of the Hytte (pronounced "hutta"). Offering high quality, accessible self-catering accommodation for eight guests. Browse through our website to discover the character of this Norwegian inspired traditional timber hytte or mountain lodge with its grass roof.
The ideal "get together" venue for family and friends, complete with the added luxury of a sauna and hot-tub spa.
Large entrance porch/utility ample storage space for outdoor clothing, bicycles etc. with washing machine and tumble dryer.
The kitchen/dining area is well equipped with gas hob, electric oven, Microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, fridge, freezer and a comprehensive range of kitchen equipment. Large dining area seating eight comfortably, high chair available.
Impressive open plan living area with vaulted ceilings, wooden floors and log burner. Colour TV (teletext) video, DVD and CD/radio cassette player, games console and a selection of games. There is also a wide range of books, videos, DVD's and board games available. Patio doors lead to extensive private garden and decked verandah with views of the open countryside and the magnificent "Bingfield sunset".
Four Bedrooms (cot available) in two twin rooms, one double and the larger accessible bedroom with zip and link option of twin or king-sized bed configuration, which also has a colour TV with teletext.
Shower room fully accessible with level entry shower and shower chair, toilet and washbasin.
Separate family bathroom with bath, shower, toilet and washbasin.
